How To Join

Please note that membership is limited to persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Simpson and Copiah Counties in Mississippi; employees of this credit union, volunteers in the community; members of the immediate family or household of members of this credit union; and organizations of such persons.

When you join MagFedCU you become a shareholder in the credit union. All it takes to become a member is a required minimum deposit in a share account. There is no membership fee. The money you deposit represents your share, or shares in the credit union. Your share allows us to offer you all the many members-only services we provide.

 
Important Information About Procedures
for Opening a New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What that means to you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.
 

Here's all you do to join:

  1. Print out this application form and fill it out completely.
  2. Include initial Share Savings Account deposit of $25.00 or more (cash or check). Make checks payable to Magnolia FCU.
  3. Include a photocopy (preferably enlarged 129%) of your Social Security Card and driver's license or other unexpired government issued photo identification (State picture ID, Military picture ID or Passport).  
  4. Stop by one of our branches or mail your completed application and opening deposit to:
