About Us

Magnolia Federal Credit Union (MagFedCU) is a multi-million dollar, full-service financial institution offering a full array of financial products and services to its members. MagFedCU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative whereby earnings are returned to members in the form of reduced fees, lower interest rates on loans, and higher returns on savings.

Membership Eligibility

Membership is limited to persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in Hinds, Madison, Rankin, Simpson and Copiah Counties in Mississippi; employees of this credit union, volunteers in the community; members of the immediate family or household of members of this credit union; and organizations of such persons.

Lifetime Membership

Once a member, always a member is a basic philosophy of credit union membership. Keeping your account active and maintaining a required minimum balance in your savings account is all it takes to remain a member for life.

Family Membership

Once you become a member, your family members are eligible to join, too. Your spouse, parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, children, even grandchildren are all eligible to join Magnolia Federal Credit Union and take advantage of all the benefits of credit union membership regardless of where they live, work, worship or attend school.

Safety & Soundness

As a member of the Magnolia Federal Credit Union, your funds are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) up to $100,000. Annually, federal examiners and auditors examine the credit union's financial status and compliance with existing laws that govern Federal Credit Unions.
